Dr. Chen is Principal, Health Economics and Outcomes Research, Real-World Evidence, IQVIA. He was trained as a pharmacist and epidemiologist, and has been conducting outcomes research for more than 15 years in the government, academic, and industry settings. His research has been published in several leading journals including Health Affairs, Medical Care, Pharmacoepidemiology and Drug Safety, Value in Health, Journal of Managed Care and Clinical Pharmacy, and other clinical journals.
He was previously a Health Economics and Outcomes Research Manager at Bristol-Myers Squibb. Prior to BMS, He served as a research fellow in pharmacoeconomics and outcomes research at the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy. He received his Ph.D. in Public Health from Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine in New Orleans.
